Detection theory, radar targets, Doppler radars, search and tracking radars, imaging radar systems, synthetic aperture radar SAR , Ultra-Wideband UWB radar, signal processing, wave propagation, error analysis and radar measurement methods. Knowledge: 1 The candidate has detailed knowledge of radar theory and radar system characteristics and performance. Skills: 1 The candidate has knowledge that enables him or her to think creatively about the use of advanced radar systems.
General competence: The candidate can present results from analysis and design of advanced radar systems. Lectures and exercises. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may by changed from written to oral. Exam registration requires that class registration is approved in the same semester.
